The Art of Life, Fellows for Two

The Art of Life is a video project centered on the creative process. As Type A personalities, Tina and Iggy (project partner) often plan every step of a project from beginning to end. While planning can be helpful, it can also cause us to fixate on the final outcome and overlook the joy of simply creating.

For this project, we began without a defined end goal—our only intention was to move our audience. The emotions and experiences we encountered along the way naturally shaped the final piece, allowing the
process itself to become the work.

This project was created through Fellowsfortwo, a 10-week collaborative program by Fellows Collective that partners creatives across the world to develop art projects of all mediums and meet new people in a new
and creative way.

Collaborating with someone I had never met was both refreshing and rewarding. As Iggy and I got to know each other, we discovered similarities and differences that ultimately strengthened our creative process. This program found both of us at the right moment, when we were eager to create purely for the joy of it.

We worked alongside other teams of artists, sharing weekly updates on our projects. It was incredibly inspiring to witness everyone’s creative processes and the final pieces that grew from their passion projects. Learning about each person’s unique interests and motivations made the experience even more meaningful. A big thank you to the @fellowscollective team for such a fun and unique experience~
